I found one of her cards buried deep in our gallery, and used it for the inspiration for this week's sketch. I just love her ribbon accents don't you?

This week Joy is challenging you to get out that old mullberry paper and give it another go. Try cutting it instead of tearing it, like she did in her sample, for an updated look that adds loads of dimension!

Digital Diva Challenge #1

Have you hit the ASB forums in the last week? We have all sorts of new weekly challenges for you that you'll soon be seeing on the blog too!

So here's the first for our new weekly digi challenge, it's a hybrid challenge so everyone can play, even if you don't do digi!

I've created this Print-n-Cut French Fry gift box. The download includes:

4 tags

2 Ribbons

1 Flower

1 Postage Stamp

2 Boxes in Red and Crumb (not shown)

1 PNG Box template so you can make boxes with other digi papers

Print and cut files are in both PNG and JPG formats so if you don't have a graphics program, you can print them in MSWord.

Design Team Call!!!

We're making changes on ASB, and we want your talent!

As of January 1st Blue Heaven will be going public! We're looking for talented Stampers, Scrapbookers and Digital crafters for our new Blue Prints teams.

Requirements:
Design team members will be asked to make at least 2 samples each month for a project or product that they've been given.

Designers must stay active participants on ASB, posting and commenting on a regular basis.

Designers are asked to participate in challenges as often as they can, and host a random challenge once a month.

Perks:
Design team members will regularly receive packets of free goodies from our monthly sponsors to create projects with!

Design team members will have help in submitting their work to magazines, e-zines and other publications to help build their resumes.

The design team will be divided into 4 new teams:
Stamping
Scrapbooking
Altered Arts
Digital Art

You are welcome to apply for more than one team as long as you can fulfill all commitments should you be selected.

If you are interested in applying for a Blue Prints team, please upload 5 samples of your work into the Design Team Call album in the Gallery. Be sure to upload into the album for the team(s) you are applying for. If you're not already a member of ASB, be sure to introduce yourself in the Welcome Center. We'd love to get to know you!

All applications must be submitted by November 30 2007. At that time the mod squad and Blue Prints Team Leaders will select the new teams, and an announcement will be made the following week.
